My name is Jacob Beebe, and I am a 17 year old freeskier from Bend, Oregon. Skiing has been a big part of my life since my family moved to the mountains of Central Oregon in 2003 when I was 3 years old. My parents wanted to leave the rain and drizzle of the Portland area in exchange for the sunnier side of Oregon in Bend. My Dad took me skiing for my first time at Mt. Bachelor, the local mountain of Bend when I was 4 years old. Since that day, I have enjoyed the sport along with my family.

Skiing is what I would consider my happy place. From deep powder days to the terrain park, each day on a mountain provides a different experience. This variety of experiences is what brings me back to the hill every day of the year.

Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to be able to compete and train with some of the best coaches and organizations in the United States and represent some of the best companies in the world. Being a freeskier has allowed me to travel to places I would have never visited otherwise. I have seen and been a part of amazing things, yet I realize that my life as a freeskier has only just begun. And as each day goes by, I can’t wait to experience the next one, participating in a sport that brings others and myself such happiness.
